Upskilling Campaigns
Create draft campaigns, define audience and templates, launch group OKR and learning materialization for your team.
Upskilling campaigns let you roll out shared objectives and learning assignments to a group of people at once — for example a department, project team, or named list of reports.
Where to find it
Manager → OKRs → Open campaigns
Or go directly to Manager → OKRs → Campaigns.
You need the manager OKRs permission. You can only target people in your management scope (your direct and indirect reports).
Create a draft
- Click New campaign.
- Enter a name and optional description.
- Define audience using one or more filters:
- Person IDs — specific people
- Department IDs or department names
- Project IDs — people assigned to those projects
- Exclude person IDs — remove individuals from the resolved audience
- Add at least one objective template (title, description, type).
- Optionally add a learning assignment (roadmap or training ID from the admin catalog).
- Click Preview audience to see how many people match and whether anyone is outside your scope.
- Click Save draft.
Launch, pause, and close
From the campaign detail page:
- Launch — freezes the definition, resolves the audience, and creates objectives and learning assignments for each target person.
- Pause — stops new materialization while keeping existing artifacts.
- Resume — relaunches from paused state and re-syncs.
- Close — ends the campaign lifecycle.
If launch fails for some people, open the Telemetry tab to see per-person errors.
Tips
- Start with a small audience (one or two person IDs) to validate templates before a wider rollout.
- Use Learning assignments for one-off development; use campaigns when many people need the same OKR shape.
- See also Team OKRs for day-to-day progress on individual objectives.
